The proposed engagement seeks to convene a technical roundtable on regional  ADR systems between officials of the Ministry of Justice and a delegation from Karl Mediation and Arbitration Center. 

The roundtable will aim to:

  • Benchmark Rwanda’s policy and institutional approaches to mediation and arbitration.
  • Promote dialogue on the development and strengthening of ADR systems across East Africa.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange between ADR practitioners and policymakers.
  • Explore opportunities for regional collaboration and professional exchange.
  • Support ongoing conversations on cross-border dispute resolution and institutional cooperation.
  • The visit will form part of a broader regional ADR benchmarking mission that will also include institutional discussions with the Kigali International Arbitration Centre.
